From the perspective of interdisciplinarity, the CNEB of Peru points out the competences that students must achieve at the end of basic education, among them the 28: it develops in virtual environments that have among its capabilities the personalization of virtual environments and the management of environmental information virtual that students achieve with My Maps.
Following this line, the participants of the Google My Maps workshop will develop these same competencies 28 and, the following competences: 1 (build their identity), 8 and 9 when reading and writing texts written in their mother tongue, 10 to 12 ( communicates, reads and writes texts in Spanish as a second language), 18 (responsibly manage space and environment), 7 (when orally presenting their map), 21 (explains the physical world) and 29 (manages their learning autonomously)
1. Know the work environment and the editing elements in My Maps
2. Organize my map information through the layers
3. Selecting elements and marking locations: style, editing, photo and video, indications and deletion
4. Adding lines or shapes and adding locations
5. Export the map to KML / KMZ
1. Create a thematic map
2. Create a historical map
3. Export maps to KML / KMZ compatible with Google Geo apps
4. Customize a virtual environment through Google My Maps
